Dr. Antonio Navas is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Sheffield's School of Economics. He holds a PhD from the European University Institute (2006) and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at GREQAM (Université d’Aix-Marseille) funded by CNRS. His academic career includes teaching at leading Spanish universities like Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and Universidad de Alicante before joining Sheffield in 2012.
Research Interests: Antonio specialises in international trade and economic growth, focusing on topics such as trade liberalisation, foreign direct investment (FDI), technology adoption, innovation, and unified growth theory.
