Antonio Corsaro is a Full Professor of Italian Literature at the Department of Humanistic Studies (DISTUM), University of Urbino Carlo Bo, where he has held teaching roles since 1983. He serves as Erasmus Delegate for DISTUM and coordinates the Master's Degree in Classical and Modern Letters. As director of the Winter School Italian Renaissance: Art, Literature, Political Thought, he connects international academic institutions, having delivered lectures in Dublin, Exeter, Tours, and Munich.

- Research Focus: Renaissance Italian literature with extensions to Late Medieval and Modern/Contemporary studies

His scholarly work bridges literary satire (Ariosto, Berni, Lando) with religious thought during the Reformation-Counter-Reformation, including a national PRIN project on textual culture (1530-1600). He co-founded the Cinquecento Plurale research group and contributed to digital archiving of Michelangelo Buonarroti's correspondence.
