Antonella Trigari is a Full Professor at the Department of Economics, Bocconi University. She previously served as an Associate Professor of Economics at the same institution and earned her PhD in Economics from New York University. Her affiliations include being a Fellow of the European Economic Association (EEA), a Research Fellow at CEPR, IGIER, and Baffi Carefin Centre, and a member of the Euro Area Business Cycle Dating Committee (2019-2023). She currently directs Bocconi's MSc in Economic and Social Sciences (ESS) since 2019 and has been the Editor-in-Chief of The B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics since 2023.
Her research focuses on labor economics, macroeconomics, and productivity analysis. She explores topics such as unemployment dynamics, total factor productivity (TFP) growth, monetary policy uncertainty, and fiscal multipliers. Her work integrates labor market frictions, wage bargaining, and business cycle modeling.
Recent publications highlight her interest in utilization-adjusted TFP measures, unemployment stabilization policies, and labor market responses during crises like the Great Recession and the Covid-19 pandemic. These contributions span economic policy design, cross-country productivity comparisons, and the interplay between financial markets and employment.
