Antonella Brita is a Research Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Manuscript Cultures, University of Hamburg. Her work examines Ethiopic manuscripts and their role in shaping religious traditions.
She specializes in Ethiopian hagiographic manuscripts and cross-cultural transmission of knowledge. As part of the SFB 950 project, she investigated 'Parchment Saints' and the materiality of devotion in Ethiopian manuscript practices.
