Antoine Vacher

Antoine Vacher is a CNRS Researcher at the University of Rennes 1, affiliated with the MaCSE group. Born in 1982, he earned his master's degree (2007) and PhD (2011) from the University of Rennes 1, focusing on electroactive ligand synthesis for organometallic chemistry. His postdoctoral work at the University of Cergy-Pontoise involved electrophore thiophene polymer synthesis. Since 2013, he has been a CNRS Research Engineer, specializing in developing electroactive organic/organometallic materials and spectroelectrochemical techniques (UV-vis-NIR, FTIR, EPR coupled with electrochemistry). Since 2023, he co-leads the "scientific diffusion" working group at the ISCR.

Research interests emphasize organic/organometallic synthesis, electrochemistry, and advanced spectroscopic methods. His work integrates TTF/dithiolene cores in materials and couples spectroscopy with electrochemical measurements. Technical expertise includes UV-vis-NIR, FTIR, EPR, and electrochemical characterization.
