Amandine Aubry is an Assistant Professor at the University of Caen Normandy, affiliated with the CREM research center (UMR 6211). She is based in the Faculty of Economics, Management, Geography and Territorial Planning (UFR SEGGAT).
Her educational background includes:
- Ph.D. in Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain (December 2014)
- Master of Science in Economics from Purdue University (2010)
Amandine Aubry's research focuses on migration, international trade, labour economics, and environmental challenges. Her work examines the relationship between international trade and the labour market, with additional emphasis on migration patterns and their economic impacts. Her research has practical applications in policy development, particularly in understanding how economic policies affect migration flows and labor markets.
Amandine has held various research positions throughout her career:
- Research position at the University of Lille (March 2019 to February 2021)
- Macroeconomist at the French Treasury (2017-2019), where she developed methodologies for assessing country credit risk of developing countries
- Coordinator of macroeconomic research on international migration at the OECD Development Center (2015-2017)
