Anthony Roberson

Anthony Roberson is an Assistant Professor in the College of Human Sciences and Humanities at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He holds a Ph.D. from Louisiana State University and is a licensed psychologist (LP), licensed specialist in school psychology (LSSP), and nationally certified school psychologist (NCSP) in Texas.

• Education: Doctoral degree from Louisiana State University's School Psychology program.

Dr. Roberson's research focuses on improving school-based psychological measurement practices, particularly through universal mental health screening tools that address systemic barriers to care. His work emphasizes the development of behavior rating scales and the application of quantitative methods like factor analysis. Current projects include refining positively-oriented screening tools for diverse, resource-limited school systems.

Recent publications highlight his contributions to youth wellbeing measurement, mindfulness interventions in schools, and bullying classification frameworks. Dr. Roberson also teaches courses in school psychology, psychological measurement, and quantitative analysis.
