Nicole Zhong, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. She is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). Dr. Zhong earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology with a doctoral minor in Educational Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. She completed specialized training in autism assessment and treatment at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and postdoctoral training at the University of Virginia and its affiliated hospitals.

Dr. Zhong's research focuses on validating outcome measures for autism symptoms and developing accessible, evidence-based interventions for autism in community settings. Her work includes studying the impact of COVID-19 on ASD services, predictors of treatment outcomes, joint attention's role in therapy, psychometric properties of the Autism Impact Measure, and social-emotional comprehension in children with ASD.
At Ferkauf, she teaches courses in psychological assessment and statistics, supervises doctoral students, and directs the Autism Research Lab. She also oversees the Parnes Test Library, which provides essential psychological instruments for training programs and the Parnes Clinic.
