Mike Van Wie

Mike Van Wie, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of School & Health Service Psychology at the College of Human Sciences and Humanities, University of Houston-Clear Lake. He can be contacted via email at vanwie@uhcl.edu and his office is located in Bayou 1508.16.

• Youth internalizing disorders (anxiety, depression, OCD)
• Multi-informant assessment strategies
• Youth and caregiver report integration
• Early intervention and prevention across school, parent, and youth domains

Dr. Van Wie directs the Stress Assessment and Intervention Lab, mentoring graduate students in both master's and doctoral programs. His lab actively engages in experimental intervention design, results analysis, publication, and conference dissemination.
