Anthony Haynor, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Seton Hall University with a joint appointment in Social and Behavioral Sciences. He has been a full-time faculty member since 1998 and served as Department Chair from 2003 to 2010. His roles include co-coordinator of the Faculty Seminar on Diversity and Inclusion, PRAXIS faculty development program involvement, and co-founder of the Civilizational Prospects project and Heterodox Academy Campus Community at Seton Hall.
His research focuses on sociological theory, self and society dynamics, and the integration of human sciences with Catholicism. He investigates sociological ethics, particularly the role of 'shame' and communitarianism in addressing ideological divides, and explores intellectual partnerships for civilizational analysis.
