Hon. Anthony Cannataro serves as a Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Law at New York Law School, where he co-teaches the State and Local Government course with a specialization in state constitutional law. Concurrently, he holds judicial office as a Judge on the New York Court of Appeals, having been nominated by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo in 2021 and confirmed by the State Senate. He previously served as Acting Chief Judge (2022–2023) and held multiple judicial appointments including Supervising Judge of the New York County Civil Court and Justice of the Supreme Court.
