Beth A. Williams is a Professorial Lecturer in Law at The George Washington University and a current Board Member of the U.S. Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board. Previously, she served as Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Policy at the U.S. Department of Justice (2017–2020), where she led the judicial nomination process for over 230 Article III judges.
