Anthony Campbell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work at Auburn University’s College of Liberal Arts. He holds a PhD in Medical Sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, an MSW from the University of South Carolina, and a BA from the University of Alabama. With over a decade of clinical social work experience in mental health and healthcare settings, his work bridges academic research and practical practice.
His research focuses on mental health, health disparities, and the role of social relationships in health outcomes. He teaches courses such as Social Work with Individuals and Families, Advanced Clinical Practice, and Mental Health.
