Dr. Jean Anthony serves as Assistant Professor of Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing at the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing since 2002, teaching undergraduate, master's, and doctoral courses in mental health nursing, health policy, and ethics. Her research focuses on health disparities, psychiatric mental health, and depression with emphasis on African American communities and faith-based interventions.

Her research program addresses critical gaps in mental health through culturally tailored approaches.
