Dr. Anouk Aleva is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Developmental Psychology at Utrecht University's Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, affiliated with the Dynamics of Youth program. She conducts clinical research on adolescent personality disorders and digital interventions for self-harm.
Aleva's research focuses on:
- Early identification of personality pathology
- Development of app-based therapeutic interventions
- Risk factors for self-harm behaviors
- Clinical staging models for youth mental health
Her publications examine environmental stressors and personality development in clinical youth populations. Aleva teaches in the Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology program and maintains clinical practice at GGz Centraal HYPE, an expertise center for early intervention.
