Anny Matamoros is a doctoral student and researcher at Lund University's Department of Law and the Human Rights Law division. She is affiliated with the LU Profile Area: Human Rights. Her PhD project explores pluralism and social legitimacy in global constitutionalism, aiming to enhance global governance through constitutional principles in addressing international emergencies.
Education: Holds master's degrees in Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and International Human Rights Law. Professional Experience: Over a decade of work with international organizations (e.g., UN Human Rights Office, Organization of American States, Honduran Ministry of Foreign Affairs) focusing on human rights, vulnerable populations, corruption, and multilateral policy.
Teaching: Course coordinator for International Human Rights Law in exchange programs and contributes to advanced courses on Non-State Actors in International Law and Public International Law. Teaches topics like Indigenous Peoples' Reparations and NGO roles.
