Mattias Kumm is the Inge Rennert Professor of Law at New York University School of Law. His research focuses on constitutional law, international law, and legal philosophy, with particular emphasis on proportionality principles, human rights, and European Union legal frameworks. He has contributed to debates on judicial review, global constitutionalism, and the intersection of constitutional democracy with transnational legal systems.
