Annika Lisa Richter is a doctoral candidate at Stiftung Universität Hildesheim and an associate member of the DFG Research Training Group 2477 'Aesthetic Practice'. Her research focuses on women artists in the Weimar Republic, examining their artistic practices through diverse media like photography, photomontage, and painting. She holds an M.A. in Art and Media Science from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and a B.A. in European Art History and History from Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg.

Research Interests: Feminist Art History, Gender and Queer Studies, intersectionality, disability studies, and the relationship between art and history. Her current project explores how women artists navigated aesthetic practices amid Weimar-era social and political shifts.
