Dr. Annie Schultz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Classical & Liberal Education and the Core Curriculum at Flagler College, and serves as Co-Assistant Director of the Honors Program. She holds a PhD in Philosophy of Education from Loyola University Chicago, an MA in Humanities from the University of Chicago, and a BA in English from Texas State University.
Her research explores socially and culturally informed educational theories, with specific interests in art theory, visual culture, aesthetics of misinformation, environmental education, and art-based media literacy.
Dr. Schultz's scholarly contributions have been recognized through:
- Educational Theory and Philosophy of Education Society Outstanding Paper Award (2024)
- Culture and Animals Foundation Grant (2022)
