Annie Kathryn Mitchell is an Associate Professor and Chair of Discipline (Creative Arts) at Southern Cross University, within the Faculty of Business, Law and Arts. She coordinates the Bachelor of Contemporary Music Honours Program and holds a PhD in Music (Third Stream Composition), alongside degrees in Education and Music. Her research spans contemporary music theory, jazz composition, music pedagogy, community music, adult education, edutourism, and musical careers in cruise ship entertainment.
