Annie Booth is an award-winning composer, arranger, pianist, and educator currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at the Lamont School of Music, University of Denver. She will join the Thompson Jazz Studies Program at the University of Colorado Boulder as Assistant Professor of Jazz Studies in Fall 2025. Her work spans jazz composition, improvisation, and education, with a focus on empowering young women in jazz through initiatives like the SheBop Young Women in Jazz Workshop.

Booth is renowned for her innovative jazz arrangements and compositions, as evidenced by her 2024 live album Here, There and Everywhere: The Beatles Songbook (Live) and prize-winning piece Cactus Blossom. Her creative output includes scores for wind ensembles, large jazz ensembles, and orchestral works.
She has received accolades from organizations like ASCAP, Downbeat Magazine, Chamber Music America, and the International Alliance for Women in Music (IAWM). As co-founder of Brava Jazz Publishing and director of the Telluride Jazz Festival Student All-Star Ensemble, Booth actively contributes to jazz education and publication.
