Annalee Tull is an Assistant Professor of Theatre and Dance at Emory Henry College. She holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College (2017), an MA in Communication Studies from East Tennessee State University (2014), and a BA in Dance/Journalism from Radford University (2011). Her research focuses on Appalachian cultural identity, performance art, and interdisciplinary approaches to dance and theatre.
- Teaches tap, ballet, jazz, musical theatre dance, and Introduction to Dance Artistry.
- Published Dance as a Human Experience (2019) and authored a chapter on Appalachian identity performance.
- Choreographs regionally with Showcase Dancers and Watts Dance Studio, and has performed with NYC-based groups like Choreographer’s Canvas and Tap City.
Her creative work includes Celebrating Appalachia for the Crooked Road Festival and The Independence Project, blending movement and spoken word. She emphasizes community-driven artistic projects both nationally and internationally.
