Rachael Kerridge

Rachael Kerridge is a Lecturer in Dance and Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting (GSA), University of Surrey, where she has been a core member of the dance faculty since 2005. She serves as the senior dance tutor, teaching tap, jazz, ballet, and musical theatre styles, and holds key roles including personal tutor for first-year Musical Theatre students, choreographer for GSA Dancers, and movement/staging director for GSA Singers.

Rachael’s professional expertise lies in dance pedagogy and performance, with a strong focus on tap and musical theatre. Her teaching experience spans prestigious institutions including Laine Theatre Arts, Arts Educational College (Tring), Elmhurst Ballet School, and the Jean Butterworth School of Dancing in Worthing, where her students achieved success in major competitions.

While no peer-reviewed articles are listed, her extensive choreographic work for student productions across BA, MA, and Acting programs reflects a robust practice-based contribution to performing arts education. These include When Midnight Strikes, Little Women, Les Misérables, Lucky Stiff, and numerous showcase productions, demonstrating deep engagement with musical theatre repertoire and staging.
