Dr Annabel Price is a Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist and Teaching Specialist in Palliative Care at the University of Cambridge's Department of Public Health and Primary Care. After training in medicine at the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, London, and psychiatry on the Maudsley Hospital Rotation, she served as a Clinical Lecturer in Palliative Care Psychiatry. She currently works with the Older People’s Team at Addenbrooke's Hospital and is affiliated with the Primary Care Unit (PCU) and the Palliative and End of Life Care Group in Cambridge (PELiCam).
Her research and teaching focus on palliative care psychiatry, medical education, and risk-stratified healthcare. She contributes to initiatives like the Cambridge Graduate Course - GP Teaching and collaborates with groups such as the Palliative and End of Life Care Medical Education Group (PalliMeg). Her work spans clinical practice, education, and community care improvement.
Dr Price is associated with the University of Cambridge's Primary Care Unit (PCU), which houses research groups including PELiCam and the Risk-stratified Healthcare Group. She engages in projects related to qualitative research, long-term conditions, and patient/public involvement frameworks like PrimaryBreathe.
