Dr. Anna Zimmerman is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (General Medicine) at Yale School of Medicine. She holds roles as associate clerkship director for the Internal Medicine Clerkship and is affiliated with the Department of Medicine. Her clinical and educational focus includes general internal medicine, with expertise in LGBTQ health, infectious diseases, geriatrics, and preventive care.
Education: MD from University of Massachusetts Medical School (2015), BA in Biochemistry from Mount Holyoke College (2009, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa).
Research & Teaching: Zimmerman contributed chapters to the Yale Office-Based Medicine Curriculum on falls in the elderly and colorectal cancer screening.
