Arthur O. Seltzer, MD, is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Medicine (Cardiology) at Yale School of Medicine and serves as Firm Chief of the Goodyer Teaching Service in Cardiovascular Medicine. He specializes in treating cardiovascular conditions including hypertension, coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, and atrial fibrillation. Dr. Seltzer completed his MD at the University of Pennsylvania (1980) and his BA in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences at the same institution (1975). His clinical training includes residency and fellowships at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. Notable honors include the Mosby Book Award, Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society membership, and academic distinctions such as Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Seltzer practices at multiple Yale Cardiology locations across Connecticut, including New Haven, Westbrook, Guilford, and North Haven.
