Thomas M. Buckley, MD, is an Associate Professor of Urology and Division Chief of Clinical Urology & Endourology at the Yale School of Medicine. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in Chemistry from Williams College (1982) and earned his MD from Harvard Medical School (1986). After completing a Urology residency at Lahey Clinic Medical Center, he has practiced urology in New Haven for nearly 20 years.
Professional Roles: Former Chief of Urology at Hospital of Saint Raphael (2009–2013), President of the Connecticut State Urology Society (2011–2013), and current Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee representative for Connecticut. He advocates for patient rights at state and national levels.
Clinical Focus: Men’s health, including prostatic disease, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, and vasectomy. Emphasizes personalized care, patient education, and compassionate treatment.
