Anna Williams

Professor Anna Williams is Deputy Head of School (Research) in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), and Co-Lead for the Health and Well-being Theme at UTS's Ageing Research Collaborative (UARC). She holds an honorary Adjunct Professorship at Western Sydney University. With a PhD in Public Health and Community Medicine, her research focuses on ageing, chronic disease management, health service innovation, and workforce development. Key contributions include advancing person-centered care for dementia patients, telemedicine implementation in low-resource settings, and rural nursing education reforms. Professor Williams has secured over $4.5 million in research funding in the past five years and leads multidisciplinary collaborations across Australia and internationally. She serves on boards such as Carrington Centennial Care and the Implementation Science Academy, and holds editorial roles at the Australian Journal of Primary Health.
