Anna Strömberg is Professor of Nursing and Vice-Dean for Research at Linköping University's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. She leads research on digital health interventions for cardiovascular rehabilitation, including tele-yoga programs and exergaming platforms for heart failure patients. Her work spans multidisciplinary disease management, family support systems, and self-care theory development. As Director of the Graduate School in Medical Education, she oversees doctoral training and has supervised 24 PhD graduates.
Her research group develops patient-reported outcome measures and evaluates eHealth tools across clinical settings. Current projects include the TeleYoga trial for long-term illness, co-design of caregiver support platforms, and international collaborations on quality-of-life assessment in cardiac populations.
