Anna Réz is an Assistant Professor at Eötvös Loránd University, where she has held a permanent position since 2015. Her academic journey began with undergraduate studies in philosophy and aesthetics at Eötvös Loránd University (2003–2008), followed by doctoral research at Central European University (CEU), culminating in her PhD in 2013.
Her research and teaching focus on moral philosophy, social philosophy, and ethics, particularly exploring concepts of responsible agency, blame, and fairness. In 2022, she published her first book, Consumed with Guilt (Mardos), a collection of philosophical essays examining contemporary manifestations of guilt and shame, which garnered significant public attention.
