Dr. Anna Katalin Aklan is a Lecturer at the Department of Indian Studies, Eötvös Loránd University. Her research focuses on comparative analyses between Greek and Indian philosophical traditions, particularly in epistemology and ethics.
Research Interests: Dr. Aklan specializes in cross-cultural philosophical studies, examining logical inference mechanisms in ancient Greek and Indian epistemology, metaphorical frameworks in Late Antiquity, and ethical discourses on friendship in classical texts.
Publications: Recent work explores intersections of Greek and Indian thought, including sign inference (2024), metaphorical parallels (2018), and Plutarch's theories of friendship (2015). Her research spans epistemological frameworks, cross-cultural analysis, and ancient philosophical methodologies.
