Anna Petrig

Professor Anna Petrig serves as Professor of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Basel. She holds a doctorate in law (Dr. iur.) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Harvard University, and is qualified as an attorney.

Her academic focus centers on Public Law with specialized expertise in International Law and Arbitration. She directs the Arbitration Lab at the University of Basel and teaches International Law courses. Her scholarly work bridges theoretical legal frameworks with practical applications in dispute resolution and cross-border legal contexts.

Professor Petrig maintains an active role in the academic community through teaching, research supervision, and leadership of specialized research initiatives within the Faculty of Law.
