Ebru AKDUMAN

Ebru AKDUMAN is an Assistant Professor at Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Law, specializing in Private International Law and European Union Law. She holds a Ph.D. from Marmara University and an LL.M. from Vrije University Brussels.

Her research focuses on international dispute resolution mechanisms, cross-border legal issues, and European Union regulations. She teaches courses including Private International Law, International Trade Terms, and European Union Law at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Akduman has published extensively on arbitration agreements, international child abduction, cross-border enforcement, and multinational corporate law. Her scholarship consistently addresses practical challenges in international legal practice while analyzing comparative dispute resolution frameworks. Recent work examines electronic arbitration during COVID-19 and legal aspects of cross-border company migration.

She supervises graduate theses on multinational corporate responsibility and serves on university commissions including the International Student Application Evaluation Commission and Graduate Transfer Commission.
