معرفی
Anna Murray is a Professor of Human Genetics at the University of Exeter's Department of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences, where she serves as Director of Research and Impact. She is affiliated with the Reproductive Genomics Group (https://sites.exeter.ac.uk/reprogenomics/) and the NIHR Exeter Biomedical Research Centre. Her research focuses on reproductive ageing, genetic mechanisms of premature ovarian insufficiency, and genome-wide studies of menopause timing and reproductive traits.
Education:
- BSc in Biology, University of Southampton
- PhD in Molecular Biology, University of Southampton
Research Interests: Anna's work bridges genetics, reproductive medicine, and epidemiology to uncover molecular and population genetic factors underlying reproductive health. She investigates single gene mutations causing premature ovarian failure and employs large-scale genomic approaches to identify novel loci associated with reproductive traits.
Scientific Awards:
- Wellcome Trust Career Development Fellowship
Advising and Grants: Anna has held leadership roles in her department and has secured competitive fellowships such as the Wellcome Trust Career Development Award. Her research spans clinical and biomedical sciences, integrating statistical and computational methods.
Labs and Teams: She contributes to the Reproductive Genomics Group at Exeter, focusing on interdisciplinary research in reproductive genomics.
