Anna Mcgregor

Dr. Anna McGregor is a Senior Lecturer in Ecology & Environmental Change at the University of Glasgow. Her research focuses on the impacts of anthropogenic noise on marine mammals, expanding to freshwater ecosystems and acoustic monitoring of cryptic species. She actively promotes inclusivity in marine science through initiatives like digital twinning and the FindAScienceBerth program. McGregor teaches courses in Marine Mammal Biology, Zoology, and Marine & Freshwater Ecosystems, emphasizing technology-enhanced learning and employability skills. She has secured grants from multiple funding bodies including NERC, AHRC, and ESRC, and has been recognized with awards such as the Society for Experimental Biology Best Student Poster (2010).
