Anna Martling

Anna Martling is a Professor of Surgery at Karolinska Institutet and Senior Consultant Surgeon at Karolinska University Hospital. Her career spans clinical practice, research leadership, and academic administration, including roles as Dean (2019-2023) and Scientific Director for Life Science (2024). She leads the Colorectal Surgery research group, integrating clinical, translational, and epidemiological studies.
