Anna-Lena Tideman

Anna-Lena Tideman is a Senior Lecturer in Singing at the Malmö Academy of Music (part of Lund University's Faculty of Fine and Performing Arts). She holds multiple academic degrees, including a Music Teacher's Degree (Malmö Academy of Music, 1982), a Master's in Music Pedagogy (2003), and a Master of Philosophy in Cognitive Research (2004). Her interdisciplinary work spans voice science, biomusicology, and speech therapy. She has led choirs, administered vocal programs, and conducted research on topics such as synesthesia, vocal pedagogy, and child musical development.

**Teaching and Leadership**: She has taught at the Malmö Academy of Music since 1996, supervised over 40 theses, and led choirs such as the Helsingborg Concert Choir. Her courses include Presentation Techniques and Biomusicology.

**Collaborations**: She has participated in international projects, including work with the Institute for Biomusicology (Mid Sweden University) and the Cognitive Research Group at Lund University.
