Magdalena Fischer

Magdalena Fischer is a German mezzo-soprano and lecturer at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart (HMDK Stuttgart) since April 2024, where she heads the singing class and early talent development program at Eberhard-Ludwigs-Gymnasium Stuttgart. She is a permanent member of the Gaechinger Cantorey and Stuttgart Chamber Choir, performing under renowned conductors including Hans-Christoph Rademann and Frieder Bernius across Europe, the USA, China, South America, and New Zealand.

Her educational background includes:

• Singing and music education studies at Detmold University of Music
• Advanced training with Paula de Wit in Amsterdam
• Master classes with Margreet Honig and artistic collaborations with Eric Schneider, Bernhard Heinrichs, and other distinguished musicians

As an academic mentor, she has supervised vocal pedagogy students at Detmold and Freiburg University of Music while lecturing at the Free College of Social Pedagogy. Her educational leadership extends to the International Bach Academy Stuttgart's programs including BachBewegt!Singen! and the Junges Stuttgarter Bachensemble master classes.
