Anna Georg is a Junior Professor and Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy of Childhood and Adolescence at the University of Tübingen since 2024. She also serves as Head of the Section 'Parent-Child Interactions in Families at Risk' at Heidelberg University Hospital and held an Acting Professorship at the University of Mannheim (2024). Her research focuses on parent-child interactions, transactional developmental psychopathology, regulatory disorders in infancy, and mentalization-based interventions.

She supervises PhD students Lea Schlömp, Lena-Marie Wahl, and others, and collaborates with institutions like Heidelberg University Hospital and Anna Freud Centre. Georg leads a university outpatient clinic for children, adolescents, and families, integrating clinical practice with research.
