Anna Genovese is a Full Professor of Business Law (GIUR-02/A) in the Department of Legal Sciences at the University of Verona. She teaches across multiple degree programs including the Master's degree in Corporate Governance and Business Administration, Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, and Master's degree in Marketing and Corporate Communication.
Her research focuses on company and commercial law, with specific expertise in corporate governance, business regulations, and competition law. Professor Genovese has led several research projects including studies on the invalidity of Board of Directors resolutions in joint-stock companies and legislative decrees on unfair commercial practices. Her research aligns with ERC sectors SH2_4 (Legal studies, comparative law, law and economics) and SH2_8 (Legal studies, constitutions, comparative law).
Professor Genovese serves as Chair of the Scientific Committee for the Advanced Course on New Bankruptcy Law and is a member of multiple academic bodies including the Teaching Boards for Business Economics and Management, Corporate Governance and Administration, and Marketing and Business Communication. She also participates in the Economic Law Department Council and the Legal Studies Department Council.
Her administrative responsibilities include office hours held on Tuesdays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Polo Santa Marta, Floor 3, Room 14. She has maintained consistent teaching assignments across nearly two decades, demonstrating sustained academic commitment despite formal leave periods from July 2014 to July 2021 and October 2021 to September 2022.
