Anna Afferri

Anna Afferri is a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Allied and Public Health Professions, Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU), and holds an honorary position as a Research Associate at the Medical Research Council Unit in The Gambia, affiliated with the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in international Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), providing clinical services, program management, and consultancy for major organizations including the United Nations, USAID, DFID, and NGOs.

Her research focuses on:

• Global Health: Systems and interventions in resource-limited settings.
• Sexual and Reproductive Health: Clinical practices, policy, and community-based initiatives.
• International Development: Cross-cultural health program design and evaluation.
