Ann Stewart

Ann Stewart is a Professor at the School of Law, University of Warwick, UK. Her research focuses on gender and the law, with an emphasis on gender justice, postcolonialism, and women's rights in global contexts. She leads two major projects: one on gender and ageing in plural legal systems of Eastern/Southern Africa (funded by a Leverhulme Fellowship) and another on gendered access to higher education in Haryana, India (funded by the Fair Chance Foundation). She collaborates with institutions in Kenya, India, Ethiopia, Malawi, and Pakistan.
