Ann Mott is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Writing Lab at the American University of Paris (AUP). She has been a faculty member since 1985, teaching composition and literature in the Comparative Literature, English, and Creative Writing Department. As a Board Member Emeritus of the European Writing Centers Association (EWCA), she has organized international conferences across 10 countries.

Research Interests: Mott's work bridges 20th Century Southern Literature and Composition Pedagogy, with a focus on Writing Center Theory, Process Pedagogy, and Peer Tutoring Impact. Her current project analyzes long-term effects of writing tutor experience on graduates.
