Ann Marie White is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, with joint appointments in the Department of Public Health Sciences, Department of Clinical & Social Psychology, and Center for Community Health and Prevention. As Director of the Office of Mental Health Promotion (OMHP), she leads community engagement initiatives through service, education, and research to advance mental health outcomes and violence prevention.
Education:

- MA in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University (1993)
- BS with Honors in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell University (1992)
Dr. White's research focuses on systems science methods applied to community engagement in mental health promotion, violence prevention, and social media data analysis. She has developed participatory research frameworks with community 'natural helpers' and designed multimedia education programs to enhance civic engagement among disadvantaged youth. Her work bridges academic research with mental health policy implementation.
