Anjaneya Sarma is a Research Fellow at the French School of the Far East, Centre of Indology, Pondicherry, India, since 1987. He specializes in traditional Indian grammar (vyākaraṇaśāstra), poetics (alaṃkāraśāstra), and Advaita Vedanta, with a focus on Panini's Ashtadhyayi and its commentaries. He has collaborated on critical editions of Sanskrit texts with scholars like François Grimal and contributed to the Vyākhyānamālā series.
