Anita Iddon is a permanent part-time PGCE Secondary English Tutor at the University of Worcester's Secondary and Post Compulsory Education school. With 34 years of teaching experience across Nottinghamshire and Worcestershire, she previously served as a Lead English Teacher, Head of English, and Advanced Skills Teacher in Worcestershire. She transitioned to higher education in 2017 as an associate lecturer and was appointed to her current role in 2019. Anita is also a governor at a partnership school and aims to complete her PG Cert and become a HEA Fellow by the end of the 2021 academic year.
Her qualifications include a BA (Hons) in English from Loughborough University and a PGCE in Secondary English. Her professional focus centers on teacher training, curriculum design, and supporting trainee teachers through her mentorship roles.
