Anindya Ghose is the Heinz Riehl Chair Professor of Technology and Marketing at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He holds a joint appointment in the Technology, Operations, & Statistics (TOPS) and Marketing departments. As the Academic Director of the MS in Business Analytics and AI Program, he leads one of the most pioneering programs in data-driven decision-making. His career at NYU Stern, from assistant to full professor in 8.5 years, is renowned for its rapid academic ascension.
Education: BTech from REC Jalandhar, MBA from IIM Calcutta, and MS/PhD from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business.
Research focuses on digital platforms, data privacy trade-offs, and AI’s societal impact. He has over 125 publications and 29 best paper awards, with grants from Google, Microsoft, and Adobe. Notable works include TAP: Unlocking the Mobile Economy and THRIVE: Maximizing Well-Being in the Age of AI.
Awards include the INFORMS ISS Distinguished Fellow Award (youngest recipient), AIS Fellow Award, and Thinkers50 recognition. He also advises startups globally and serves on boards like Delhivery and LatentView Analytics.
