Angus Armstrong serves as Director of Macroeconomics at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIECR) since September 2011 and holds an Adjunct Professor position at Imperial College Business School. Previously, he was Head of Macroeconomic Analysis at Her Majesty's Treasury from mid-2004, playing a critical role in the UK's financial crisis response including G20 representation, and served as Chief Economist Asia and Managing Director at Deutsche Bank.
