Dr. Angela Bradshaw is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Glasgow's School of Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health. Her research focuses on viral vector engineering, particularly adenoviral systems for cardiovascular and oncologic gene therapy, alongside vascular biology and noncoding RNA roles in disease. She contributes to the Cardiovascular Research Centre and collaborates widely on projects like tropism-modified vectors for cancer therapies and inflammatory disease modeling.
Her work spans gene delivery optimization, TGF-β signaling in vascular pathologies, and microRNA-driven mechanisms in pulmonary hypertension. Recent studies emphasize translational applications, including targeted therapies and molecular imaging techniques for vascular inflammation. Dr. Bradshaw co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications since 2009, with contributions to textbook chapters on vascular medicine and viral vector protocols.
