Angéla Góg is an Assistant Professor at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME) in the Faculty of Object Design. She has been teaching since 2015 and currently leads the MA in Object Design programme, shaping its new structure while combining academic work with creative practice as Art Director at ONYX restaurant.
Her research focuses on the intersection of object design and food design, particularly exploring themes like meals and remembrance, food culture, thematic meals, flavor-memories, and Hungarian dry pasta. She employs a unique methodology refined over years of working on national research projects and exhibitions.
She has received significant recognition for her work, including the Moholy-Nagy Award (2020), National Excellence Programme grants (2016), and the Rector’s Award (2015) for her groundbreaking thesis on food design.
